It may seem easier, or maybe it is some kind of default mechanism, for us to focus on what is wrong rather than what is right. Maybe it is a survival instinct. Maybe it is disbelief. Maybe it is a longstanding habit. What would it be like to focus on what is right with us?
There is a duality in existence that is an artificial construct that affects us in significant ways. Our immediate consciousness perceives us as human in physical form, and we respond in daily existence in this mode. However, we are first and foremost spirits having a human experience.
"All points lead to now" has been my tag line for a long while. I find that no matter where we have been and what we have been through, it all leads us to this point in time — reading this article, drinking that cup of coffee, flirting with that husband, or living in that house.
It is accepted that life keeps shifting and changing. It's called progress. For the most part, after we stop fighting each new transition, we usually get into our groove and begin to acknowledge the next uncharted journey unfolding before us.
