Strength seems obvious. Some people might be able to lift three hundred pounds or fight off purse snatchers. If we were given special superpowers, we might be able to fly or remain invisible. What if strength was more subtle than this? What if true strength was resilience and grace under pressure? What if strength was getting up off the floor after being knocked down for the fiftieth time?
