From Tom: The total solar eclipse that takes place April 8, 2024, will begin its bisection of the United States at Eagle Pass, Texas. It will continue up through Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; Cleveland, Ohio; Buffalo and Syracuse, New York; and pass through many other cities and towns along the way. Millions of people have already booked hotels, motels, and campsites along its path, and reports are that rental cars are difficult to reserve.
