From Tom: Dena and I had dental appointments this past Thursday, but weather predictions were for freezing rain and extremely slick streets. Both Dena and I requested most benevolent outcomes (MBOs) for the forty-five-minute drive or for the appointments to be rescheduled. When we awoke, it appeared we would need to reschedule.

Then the dentist’s scheduling assistant called, first suggesting we come in immediately, which was not an option. Then she said just one of us could have an appointment, and finally she rescheduled both of us for an hour later.
