Essences of Nature

Essences of Nature Mary Ann Altamarino Antenucci

We start each new year with resolutions and revelations. For the most part, we have the best of intentions to make those long-overdue changes to our health, relationships, employment, and circumstances that we wish to improve. Then, around week three or four, we get amnesia or run out of motivation.

Perhaps this is the year we change or alter our personal narratives. We can still make good intentions for better versions of our reality, but small steps instead of large sweeping ones can also achieve change. The best racecar drivers don’t focus on the immediacy of the curves; they focus on what is ahead of the curves, and their bodies get in sync and respond. How do we focus on the changes we wish to implement without worrying or stumbling on the steps to get there?
