The Secret Wisdom of Animals: A Good Feathered Friend

The Secret Wisdom of Animals: A Good Feathered Friend Kim Malonie

Sandy: Chicken Little is three months old, and she’s been ailing about three weeks. Her legs don’t function properly. They started going weak, and now she can’t stand on her own. She is living inside the house. She eats well, so I assume she is not in a lot of pain. I would like to know if Chicken Little wants to continue living in the condition and situation she is in.

Miss Kitty is an adopted rescue kitty. Her age and past are unknown. When I adopted her, she had no teeth and had been declawed. She walks with a hunched back at times, and I wonder if she is in pain. She eats well and appears content.

Chicken Little: Hi, Sandy. Thank you so much for getting help for me to voice my opinion and to share what’s going on. A lot of people don’t think chickens have souls or feelings. I am so glad you know differently. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for taking such great care of me and going above and beyond to keep me safe, warm, and comfortable. Even though I miss my hen friends in the chicken coop, I really enjoy being in the house with you. [Big beak smile.]
