Tools for Conscious Living

As I scanned the spiritual life section one evening at Barnes and Noble, I happened across the book A Course in Miracles. “Interesting title for a book,” I thought as I selected it from several hundred other possibilities.

There is more to life than we can imagine. Every day, we move through our three-dimensional world, through this moment in time and space, as if it were all there is. Like a backdrop to the great theater of life, we accept the illusion that this set and its props are the world itself.

As I have watched the days, weeks, and months unfold over the past few years, it is apparent that humanity is going through a major awakening. It is a birthing of sorts; we are being born into a higher version of who we really are.

Your intuition is an expert at telling you what is for your highest good. It can truthfully inform you of what is going on around you and what another person is like in order to help you make the right choices. For example, your intuition can usually spot whether someone is being honest or not.

One of the great gifts meditation can teach us is to merge fully with ourselves and creation. When we find perfect balance within the bodymind-spirit, all our chakras spin in harmony and balance and the kundalini climbs the shushumna. We reach a place of one pointedness call samadhi.

Tradition has long heralded the Easter resurrection as spirit’s triumph of ascension. Easter is spirit’s egg joined with matter. Your egg matures and ascends from matter back into spirit’s egg, enriched.

We all know how revitalizing it is to be in nature. Connecting with the natural world, stimulating our senses, and filling our lungs with oxygen lift our moods and spirits.

Is it possible that all the knowledge of the universe is stored within us, within the atoms, molecules, and cells of our physical selves and molded into our genes and DNA? Are we able to process our cellular memories and DNA automatically and unconsciously with our brains?

You may have forgotten that Supreme Spirit is ever-present and that you are, in fact, a part of her/ his eternal love and light, yet Spirit never fails to wake those of you who really care to remember her/him and the truth of your divinity.

The Ascended Masters: The energy of the ascended masters comes in forms of pouring laser light so strong that it becomes pure rarefied love. The energy the ascended masters emit is different because they have already reached a total spiritual awakening.
