Release Worldly Commitments
Release Worldly Commitments Quan Yin through Therese Dorer
Therese: Following a pathway of white smooth stones, I come to the base of a mountain trail. Before me is a tall mountain and a pathway that leads to the top. At the base of the mountain stands Quan Yin with her hands outstretched, encouraging all who choose to journey up Dragon Mountain.
Quan Yin: I invite you to journey with me up Dragon Mountain. The climb represents your commitment to change. Call on your courage and resolve as you begin your ascent. With each step, you deliberately release fatigue, sadness, loneliness, and doubt. You climb higher and come to a place of rest. Here, you pause and tune in to the role you have played in this life of being a daughter or a son. As you exhale, consciously release this role — the responsibilities and expectations it holds for you. When you have completed releasing them with your breath, notice that you feel lighter
