There comes a time at the end of how things are when fear says, “If how things are leaves, how can I possibly survive? How can I — my bundle of personalities, regrets, wishes, hopes, and skills — survive in anything other than what I have known?”

This is the time we’re in, from our angelic perspective, when much of the old structure has been lost to humanity — not misplaced, but painstakingly dismantled one piece at a time over generations.
