You Are Keeping Yourself on Hold
Greetings, lovely beings. Greetings to you! I am Teacher, and I come forth to speak with you about how you can live in a clearer way, unencumbered by your recent past and its invitation to continue reflecting on how you could have made it more perfect.
Now, there is nothing wrong with reflecting on the past, even if it is yesterday. However, when you find you are dipping into the cause and effect and residing there for a time, something else is occurring. What is it? Well, that is what I am here to speak with you about.
In the process of reflecting on the past, several things occur. What are the “things,” as you call them? Well, first, when something has occurred in your recent past that has been uncomfortable, you tend to return to that event and go over and over it with your mind. Why? What is your benefit? In truth, some of you are sincerely trying to discern how the event occurred and how you could have prevented its outcome. That is natural and neither right nor wrong. What I would like to bring to your attention is your attachment to that event and your emotional investment in revisiting it. Ah! Now you have an inkling of what I am speaking about.
