In selecting a pose for this special issue, I reflected on what might be most useful as you move into the energies of 2020. This classic yoga posture has always connected with me deeply, as the most powerful warrior to me is the peaceful warrior.

As you move into this new decade of galactic energies, you must discover and become the peaceful warrior, holding steadfast with unwavering faith and trust that peace is available and will prevail. Hold the space, and find solace in this pose of great strength and balance.

As a true warrior, you do not fear death; you understand that the soul’s journey is immortal. Turn your consciousness inward, and invite your mind to become peaceful. Hold the vision of this peace as you focus your dristhi (your gaze) on the middle finger of your front hand. In this higher state of focus, your physical body melts into your blissful mind, creating a union to conquer the chaos of third-dimensional existence.
