The Point of Karmic Completion
The Point of Karmic Completion Cal Garrison
Inside every smaller and larger cycle, there is an ordered sequence that supplies it with a structure that allows each link in the chain to hold its own in a series whose whole is greater than the sum of its parts. In the wheel of the year, the Beltane cross-quarter (May 1) marks a stage in that sequence when the seed atom that ignited back at the winter solstice has traveled all the way from the heart of God to meet itself in the third dimension. Its physical manifestation is forged in the heat of the Beltane fires that light up on May 1. On Beltane Eve, otherwise known as the Great Rite, “the two beget the one.” What is birthed by that, along with whatever is meant to be, becomes whole and complete within itself by the end of the month, on or near the day that the fixed star Sirius descends below the horizon. This new entity along with whatever it is in us that reflects it, needs to be awake and aware enough to embrace its purpose
for coming into being by that time.
