Melanie: I'm very perplexed about a situation I experienced the other day, and I wonder whether you could help me figure it out.

My father passed away on New Year's Eve. He didn't believe in anything spiritual. I took his death kind of hard, so I've been walking, as I usually do, to enjoy nature, trying to erase the sadness in my heart missing my dad. Going hiking as much as I can makes me feel one with the universe and very grounded.
