August is the only month of the year, other than December, that doesn’t have major planets shuffling in and out of zodiac signs. Maybe that’s just as well, because there are three very powerful and rare alignments taking place in the sky, which is extremely unusual. Though we might get a bit of a breather in some sense, particularly at the start of the month with Mercury retrograde, there is much to come. So we need to use this slower retrograde energy to pause for a moment and take stock.
