Forge a New Direction in November
Forge a New Direction in November Donna Taylor
The other night I found myself deep in conversation with someone about the end times, the New Earth, and the state of the world, and I was asked what I thought the solution was to all humanity’s problems. My mind went blank at the time, and it was only afterward that I realized that the solution is obvious: We need to stop defining progress in materialistic terms. It always makes me laugh when I hear politicians talk about everything in terms of economic growth as if that’s all that matters — that if we’re not growing financially, we’re failing — and if we don’t build more houses, roads, railways, airports, shopping centers, and nuclear power stations, we’ll slide into an abyss. They believe that if we don’t keep investing, borrowing, and spending, the economy will wither, and if we don’t keep updating our phones, cars, and gadgets, we’ll be left behind.
This is the madness that has brought us to where we are now, so the solution is to end capitalism and the patriarchal, 3D structures that humanity has lived with for so long. Whether people like it or not, this is what’s coming. I mention this because November has a very strong financial and material theme, and the tensions will be strong. It begins with a buildup of planets in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus, the sign of money (and the environment). The north node, which represents our direction and the path we need to take, is also in Taurus and suggests that if we want to save the planet, we need to completely redefine our definition of progress. Saturn is in Aquarius, forming a hard angle to both these sets of planets and nodes, strongly indicating that the old structures are about to collapse even more.
