Receiving the Divine

Receiving the Divine Master Djwhal Khul through Kathlyn Kingdon

Beloved students, I greet you this month as many of you are looking forward to the turning of the seasons. May the equinox occurring later this month offer you and the world a moment of pristine balance at all levels. As you note the amazing process of one season giving way to another, you may be able to draw some parallels between the process of Earth and your personal spiritual journey. What process or cycle within you may be about ready to yield to some other process or cycle? While all sentient beings partake in the planet's seasonal cycles, many people are quite oblivious to the ways in which these correspond to their own cycles in life. Earth's cycles are seeded within you, reflected by you, and shared with you. Your relationship to your planet is so profound that it simply cannot be any other way. While it does appear that you are separate from your planet and universe, as with other arising appearances, this one is part of the grand illusion you are seeking to cut through as you move toward enlightenment and eventually take ascension.

You are living in a time when a shift is arising that is likely to take human consciousness into a vaster state than has previously been adequately described. It is for this reason that I believe new teachings on ascension are needed and may even hold a new potency for those who encounter them. As the planet undergoes the powerful changes that seem to be arising from literally every direction, megachanges are likely to be reflected in the collective consciousness as well. One could, in fact, argue that during the past fifty or so years, an interesting wrinkle in consciousness has risen, one that we might even term a "new mind." This could be directly correlated to the development of the new science of the twentieth century, which, aside from providing astonishing revelations about the universe and the subatomic realm, has also liberated the mind from the confines of the previously recognized envelope of understanding. As the scope of the universe has expanded, so has the scope of the mind.

New Science

Prior to the twentieth century, scientific discovery and conventional thought were confined to the phenomenal universe. Perhaps unwittingly, much of humanity, following the lead of science, generally concluded that matter was the ending point of all discoveries. Stated very simply, such thinking generated an acceptance of materialism, a belief that everything could be reduced to its smallest particle of matter, and that there was nothing of pertinent value beyond the material realm. Matter, however, is finite, and must therefore come to some ending point.
