I want to ask Erik whether he can talk to my higher self or my guide because I’ve lost my direction. I don’t know how to move forward in my career. I cannot find peace until I have direction. I sometimes feel as if I’m sinking. Thank you.

Hi Janet: I know how you feel. First things first, though. Recognize that peace comes when you surrender to the world around you. Right now, you face every day with the need to control the outcome of each moment. Surrender to that desire, and the feeling of disappointment will cease to exist. It takes practice and a lot of energy, though. You have to work at surrendering. Don’t misunderstand me; this is not the same as giving up. It means surrendering the fight. If you are resistant in your career in any way, you disable the possibility for change to occur. So instead of wanting the control over where or how to move forward in your career, surrender the need for that control, and allow change to unfold.
