Marilyn: July is the month of freedom in the United States. Honestly, I get a little irritated when people complain about how we don’t have rights in this country any longer. Obviously, those folks haven’t lived in other countries. At the writing of this article, the war in Russia and Ukraine is escalating, and there is a growing concern of other countries getting involved. Plus, the media is reporting horrendous brutality from the Russian soldiers concerning their treatment of Ukrainian civilians.

I shake my head wondering what really is the truth behind what is presented. I have a difficult time watching the news, so sometimes I just retreat into romantic comedies on Netflix. Then my higher self seems to step in and redirects my attention: “What can I do to help?” So I connect with Adironnda and the Council of Light.
