Our February issue is coming out on the eve of the midwinter cross-quarter. Halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, the early days of February are otherwise known as Imbolc, Candlemas, or Saint Brigid’s Day. Honored anytime between the first and seventh day of the month, from a spiritual perspective, this cross-quarter is an entirely feminine event, one that is meant to honor and invoke the invisible female component.
