Move into the Balance That Heals All
I have a friend who has had horrible back pain since he was in a car accident several years ago. He has tried various holistic and medical practitioners, including a physician, who suggested surgery. He is unsure of what to do, so he simply endures the pain.
There is another sort of pain he is also enduring. He has a daughter and a grandson whom he hasn’t seen in years. Like many of us and all our “stuff back there,” our relationships are often just too painful to deal with. What if there were a way to relieve our physical pain by bringing a loving balance into all aspects of who we are — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually?
I was listening recently to someone who said that she had been struggling with what to do when her refrigerator broke down. She recounted all the fears that came up like, “How can we save all the food? Can we really afford a new fridge?” Finally, she decided to just ignore all of that and borrow a small fridge from a friend.
