Dream Zone: Get Rid of What’s Bugging You

Dream Zone: Get Rid of What’s Bugging You Lauri Quinn Loewenberg

I dreamed I had a little bug-bite scab on my leg. It started looking like a blackhead, so I squeezed it, and it popped out like a bug. When the head of it came out of my leg, I grabbed it with my thumb and index finger. I finished pulling it out and wiped it on the sidewalk. I looked down, and it was a tiny shell-less snail with a bunny face and two snail antennae — slug- or snail-like, very tiny.

Lauri: Well, this dream is kind of cute! Anyway, the bug bite represents something that has been bugging you lately. It could be a situation that “really bites.” You managed to extract it, which means it is something you have rid yourself of or at least of the annoyance of it. You wiped it on the sidewalk, which tells me it is something that has sidetracked you.

The snail means it is something that has been going at a snail’s pace. And no shell means it is something that is causing you to feel vulnerable. The bunny face, while adorable, means it has or had the potential to multiply, but you managed to get it out of you. That’s the good news your dream is highlighting for you: Whatever it is, you have gotten the effects of it out of your system.
