Dear Dream Zone,
I dreamed I was in the school nurse's office where I used to teach and a student was giving birth in the toilet. I tried to look at it and it looked like a brain!

Lauri: The nurse's office suggests this dream is about a situation in your life that needs to get better. And the student is most likely a part of you. What have you been learning lately? A new skill? A new way of thinking or doing things? Whatever it is, it seems that this has "given birth" to a new idea or mindset, symbolized by the brain. The birth takes place on a toilet, so it may be something that you might be thinking of ridding yourself of.
Irene replies: My husband and I were having issues due to the extreme stress he operates under from being self-employed and having a crazy family. When he's stressed like that, it comes back on me. We've done a lot of talking about it and have discussed ways to handle the issues that were arising too frequently and causing problems for us. I think the "giving birth" refers to our new ideas and problem solving, and the birth on the toilet is ridding ourselves of the problems we were having. It's been a learning process for both of us since I figured out how to help him de-stress or at least not add to it. We're doing quite well as a result. He's still the love of my life. What I've learned specifically is that what he really needs from me is to just listen and not get impatient when I hear the same complaints over and over. He's much calmer and happier since I've been doing that. Thank you!
